The weather and the score tonight?

It could be a classic, neither team to break 10 points.

    #2
    Might the game be postponed?
There is a Gale warning in effect this morning and Force 10 winds in TP might not be the safest.
What time would the ref make a judgement?

Was thinking the same Huron. It is already extremely windy with very strong gusts, and quite a few showers of horizontal rain. It is forecast to get worse. Have already had our kids trampoline (13' and heavy) crabbing across the garden this morning

I remember the sportsgrounds well Laz, in fact I think I lasted longer outside than you did ! It was very wet but I don't think it was quite as windy. What happens if advertising hoardings go flying - or even the chip van !

Good point Corker public safety has to be considered as well

Now, that's the first time I've seen Thomond referred to as a sheltered place. Up on that hill and all.

Whats it like over there today, was a hell of a storm here last night when i was coming back from the airport (one of the less fun landings i've had the joy to experience) but while it's windy it deosnt seem as bad today.

The GAA have started canceling games.
Two of their finals are announced as off. One of them was set for Claughan wasn't it?

Quite a few other sporting events cancelled around the place. Hurling I can understand, but it's the first time in a while I've heard of across-country race cancelled. When would a call have to be made for this evening's game?

Well, if the match does go ahead may I suggest a few quid on the handicap bet? Connacht +16 to win with PaddyPower. There may not even be 16 points scored! Similar conditions only yielded 12 points last night.

EDIT: Ladbrokes at +17 is getting my cash....

I think the wind is as strong as it's going to get, maybe more rain due. I think the game in the Gaelic Grounds is going ahead at 2.00 sas planned o we can judge on that.

The score is going to be a lottery - a Munster win of any kind will do.
