    Chris Cloete

I haven't seen him play since he came in but I read this on threeredkings:

"I’ve a feeling that Cloete is going to hit these upcoming Champions Cup games in December like a ****ing asteroid."

The finish in the Zebre game was astounding, though again I only saw it on twitter and it's well worth checking out, so I don't have a feel for the overall performance.

    Any thoughts or observations?

He looked great yesterday. Aggressive, in the face of Zebre all day, bouncing back so quickly, and he looks really strong for his height. He was like a hired gun - one job and boy was he doing it.
"I don't believe in fairytales," O'Connell once told me, "even though it feels like I've been lucky enough to live through a few. However it ends, I'll feel lucky."

Watched him closely on his first outing against dragons. Sheer hunger to get back on his feet was a real joy to see and if it were to become infectious, ( I’m pretty sure it would be obviously to the whole squad) he’d be making a hell of a contribution. I don’t rescall seeing any player “bounce” so quick. Reminds me a bit of Hooper. Looking forward to his impact when surrounded by more quality players.

He's like hooper's twin brother, 5ft square, socks down and the look of an out and out lunatic, and I mean that in a good way

Hopefully he'll do as well against tougher opposition than the likes of what he's faced so far.

IMO he's exactly what we're missing, a nugget at the breakdown - it's not one of TOD's fortes, POM, Stander and Niall Scannell have their moments but he looks like a bit of a specialist who relishes getting stuck in there stealing or disrupting ball.

Conor Oliver should be like a shadow next to him during his time here.

He also looks like a smaller, chubbier Patrick Swayze.

Saw his first game against Dragons in Cork, can't remember the player he boshed but it was impressive as hell. Think Deysel did the same thing in his first game last year too

TRK have been bigging him up for a long time and so far looks like they were right. Relishing seeing him in a full strength team

Do we expect CC to keep ToD out of the side? I do...

                          I'm not so sure.
