Any chance he could arrive now? Our current fullback already has one foot in Paris if levels of application are anything to go by.

Pretty sure he played on the day the Kearneys like to forget
You're going to upset our resident King Cnut.

Looks like it's done! Munster have done some great deals in the last 4/5 years. We're simply not producing enough local talent, no idea whats happened to Limerick in terms of forwards. Kilcoyne is the only player I can think of out of our 1st and 2nd and 3rd choice forwards (20 odd players) at the moment.
Is kilcoyne not a clare man!

Chances are that Earls, Conway, Sweets could be involved with the Irish set next year so it will be good to have quality NIQ in the backs. This guy has some wheels.

Horan, Fla, Hayes, O'Connell, Wallace, Quinlan and Foley, all played for Limerick City clubs. Is that not enough for you?

What's your point? That some of them came from families who moved to the suburbs, like the Foleys?

Discussion was on Limerick born players and not players who moved to better clubs in Limerick to further their careers.

Tipp still produced TOD, Butler, Ryan, Foley in recent years as an example.

It's unfortunate we find ourselves in this situation; were we are signing 18 year olds from abroad to fill gaps in our production line. However sounds like a very good move. Hopefully he'll be like a foreign signings of late. A move which I was calling for before the change of rules to sure up the TH position. But not expecting one so young though.

But it's been a problem area for a number of years now. Though this season Archers form has been excellent, and with him battling away with Ryan, you'd be forgiven in thinking the problem has been solved. But reality we're just not producing enough quality THs.

Not sure if Knox falls into the 3 year residency rule. Either or, being so young not sure it matters much. 5 years time he'll only be 23. Still very young for his position.

As for us signing an Argie full back, don't think it's necessary. Even with the loss of Zebo, we have plenty of young backs I'd rather give game time to.

We need to broaden our emphasis and get an understanding in Irish rugby that the domestic league from now on is most important and that's what qualifies you now for Europe.'' Cordero is a world-class attacking talent. Would be an unbelievable signing, our most exciting NIQ in years. Fingers crossed.

He falls into the 3 year window alright, here in December 2017.
On Argie FB, Leinster signed top class international in Lowe when they have acres of local talented backs. In Europe we will need that bit of extra talent but wouldn't be great alright for Calvin Nash etc

Genes and geolocation are no doubt relevant but its the clubs that produce the players.

Dont for a second doubt his attacking prowess, very small for though for the kind of kicking game that permeates the Northern Hemisphere rugby scene these days though.

Speed Merchant. Nice skills. Far quicker off line than Zebo.

He kinda reminds me of the Poisondwarf or Andy Conway in style.

A small bundle of power and explosive acceleration
