Ronan features in new Lucozade ad

    PRESS RELEASE:

    MOMENT OF TRUTH

Lucozade Sport, the country's leading sports nutrition brand, launched its
latest television advertising campaign, on Monday 16th April. Entitled
'Moment of Truth', the new advert is the follow on the hugely successful,
'Hunger has a Thirst' campaign. The commercial brings together four of
Ireland's top athletes; the Republic of Ireland edit features Ireland and
Munster dynamic outhalf Ronan O’Gara, Newcastle United and Republic of
Ireland soccer star, Damien Duff, and GAA football genius Colm 'The Gooch'
Cooper, from Kerry. A Northern Ireland edit will feature Ulster and Irish
    rugby hooker, Rory Best.

Ronan O'Gara and Damien Duff have both been associated with the brand since
July 2003, when they first joined the Lucozade Sport Ambassador's team,
whilst Rory Best and Colm Cooper came on board in January 2006 and February
    2006, respectively.

Commenting on the new commercial, Ronan McClafferty from Lucozade Sport
said, "We are very excited about this ad. 'Moment of Truth' dramatises the
outstanding character, spirit and dedication of four amazing Irish
athletes. Not only that but it highlights how important it is for all
sportspeople to have the right products for use during training and matches
    to improve endurance".

The campaign highlights the emphasis Lucozade Sport places on scientific
credentials. These credentials are inherent in the performance and testing
of the sports drink, evident through Lucozade Sport's association with the
National Coaching & Training Centre at the University of Limerick.

The advertising campaign will continue throughout the summer months, whilst
a 20 second single sport ad will air around key GAA, rugby and football
    matches.

how is Ronan O'Gara or any of the others an athlete? They're football players of various codes, not athletes, let alone four of Irelands top athletes. Sheesh ....

Wow now there's a resurrection of a thread. Nearly a bloody year gone. Is this why the site can slow down? We're dragging all this behind us?
The trick is getting to the second set of horses.

That's not the ad i was talking about - although it is quite cool too.

I meant Paul's TV ads on the http://www.nevergiveup.ie/2007/where he's having a laugh at John Hayes' expense! Click on the TV Ads button.

Again, a monster performance from the man at the weekend. Marcus let us down a bit but had a good game otherwise.
