Looking forward to seeing Jacko at 8 again
"There are a lot of points that we’ve left behind and this is with a young group. That probably tells you what they’re capable of and that they’re a very good side.

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

Anthony Foley, May 2016. Axel RIP

Looks (borderline) strong enough to win. Great if they establish enough of a lead to let McCabe have a run - and hopefully we will get another look at Buckley.

No sign of the odds yet - guessing Munster about -5.

Wouldn't have minded seeing Holland and Foley in the row and Buckley at 6 but sure, might see it at some stage. Big game, really could do with winning this and springboarding the end of season run

Can anyone honestly say they saw the emergence of the boul Billy at 6 and captaining the team - out of position.

Without wishing to set anyone off by praising the AF that seems (so far) to have been a very good call - Billy must have been really showing up well in training and given POMs absence and the fact that he started agin SF he must be considered first choice at blindside (Shirley a joke in there about his unseen work)

Possibly Billy, TOD and CJ when Irelands new star returns as per SF for critical run in.

              Gwan Billy

Does Foley have no time for the specialised role of a true openside or are all these selections injury enforced.

Dave O Callaghan, Billy and Jack have all featured at 7 this season - along with TOD and J Coughlan.

It seems he will select anyone there. Even if they are not even the first relation of an openside.

I thought he might leave Jack there and see how he would develop in the role - he has great mobility and is quick on his feet. Sure his jackal etc isn't great but given time . . .

Anyway. Looks like a good side.

My main worry has nothing to do with selections and teams however. I hope we have good/ reasonable weather and the crowd shows up and gets in behind the team.

Its 5pm on a Sunday, thats quite late for travelling fans.

I know if it were 5pm on a Sunday in Thomond I wouldn't be travelling and I make it to Thomond for most Pro 12 games.

Yes, Poor timing for a game on a Sunday.
Munster, good squad probably 15-16 of your best 23 match day squad.
Good side. I'd say Munster would be -13 points Handicap.
When their numbers dwindled from 50 to 8, the other dwarves began to suspect Hungry

TOD, SOB and POM aren't available, Doyle is gone too IIRC, it pretty much limits his choice to a 6 or 8. A win puts the to six at a clear distance from the rest. Ulster should end Glasgow's interest and we should end it for the Ospreys. That's the main priority surely

A nice mix of youth and experience both on and off the bench, delighted to see Sweetnam getting another run with the likes of D Johnson and Bohane to spring off the bench. Cant wait

That's a fine looking side. We'd really want to be winning this one at home with such a strong 15 against a weakened Ospreys.
