is TP operating at a loss now?

    Genuine question,

with the steady decline in numbers thru the doors in recent years, especially this year, and with TP still a new stadium, would anyone be privy to the knowledge of Munster repayments etc on the stadium?
Would a continuing decline in numbers ever put TP in genuine danger of being NAMA'd, or are the IRFU involved as a guarantor if you will? Or a certain Limerick businessman........??

    Thanks bucks

Frank Hogan is waiting in the wings, Limerick RFC us just around the corner, 2 Neville's with EOS in as the backroom, Phil Danaher inked in to be dietician.

      From a recent Thornley article:-

"Ulster, Connacht and Munster have been bailed out with lump sums over the years, but all the provinces have seen their funding reduced. Munster appear financially the worst off, with an estimated debt to the union from the redeveloped Thomond Park of around €9 million. With the region, and especially Limerick, hardest hit by the recession, and crowds dwindling, they are apparently making little or no imprint on that remaining debt. Moving between Limerick and Cork is another financial albatross around their necks."

New infraction avoidance policy: a post may be described as imbecilic, but its author should never be described as an imbecile.

That would be a quick way to have another Limerick City Fc.

"Moving between Limerick and Cork is another financial albatross around their necks" A two city team based team is a rather strange beast alright which doesnt offer enough matches to one city and fails to maximise revenues in another one.

From a business perspective Munster need to exploit Cork more for revenue with more games and more attractive games at that

This isn't Limerick or Cork, Roly Daniels says Toomand is going bust, Frank is stepping in to save Pro rugby from another cut price purchase for Denis O'Brien from NAMA or maybe it's just bull****.

Welcome back Jack, how's the new article going?
"There are a lot of points that we’ve left behind and this is with a young group. That probably tells you what they’re capable of and that they’re a very good side.

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

Is there now a genuine argument for digging up Thomond and replanting it in the grounds of Cork Con? For financial reasons?

                    Absolutely work away.
Anything seems possible now; economic stability, world peace, Conor O’Shea completing a sentence without being interrupted, even the permanent cessation of The X Factor feels within reach.

Not with there attendances. Turners Cross would be a better alternative :-)

I heard they're putting a sand racing track in for dog racing and jumps in the middle for the horses, a duck pond and a dove emblazoned gazebo for civil ceremonies. Cj, Mr. Angry and Zebo are applying for registrar's licenses so that you can be married by them.

I reckon we got the whole rebuild wrong from the start. All we needed was to get an extension put on, and put another one on the extension, then the whole place would be in a circle now.
                          Tis but a scratch.

Replant it in Galway. Munster & Leinster are the past, Connacht is the future.
