    Garrett Fitzgerald Munster CEO

What are fans impressions of this guy?? Last year was the fairly messy finish of Rob Penney with this season so far is hit n miss to say the least. Started with the player leak performance debacle, rolled into a major balls up with the scheduling of the majority of home games on a Friday night and poor atmosphere/attendances. This rolled into one of the marquee fixtures of the season against Leinster turned into a glorified B game after he made assurances at the start of the season that Pro12 games would get better treatment. Disillusioned to say the least about JJ leaving but fair play other fans are also correct that Munster is bigger than any individual. Don’t know the man just interested to know what others impression are of him??

A loss against Saracens next week and Munster’s season is in a bad way, know lots of fans that are now saying they will not renew membership after this season after the past few months.

Not being able to pay the stadium debts.
Munster being incapable of producing any centers.
The ignoring of Munsters biggest market..

In fairness I think it's a big ask for Munster to do much more to reach out to expats. If they start playing games in Sydney, London and Toronto that shower down in Cork will start complaining. When they start moaning they make a lot of noise for such a small crowd. We wouldn't get a minute's peace.

I'm not sure how the CEO is responsible for an email leak. Is he also head of IT security? And has he installed behaviour modifiers in every member of staff to prevent them accidentally sending a mail to the wrong person?

I'm no fan of Fitz, but you can't blame him for team selections/player availability. That lies with Foley and/or the IRFU and Joe Schmidt.

Roger Roger. What's our vector, Victor?

In fact I'd say the only of those that he's in any way responsible for are Penney and JJ. And JJ is debatable.

According to good old wikipedia "A chief executive officer (CEO) is generally the most senior corporate officer (executive) or administrator in charge of managing a for-profit organization. The CEO of a corporation or company typically reports to the board of directors and is charged with maximizing the value of the entity."

Anything to do with Munster professional Rugby is down to this guy, he is responsible for the management team, team finances, contracts. "Maximizing the value of the entity", will be interesting to see what comes of this with ticket sales next season.

I hate to break it to you, but it's always been run like an amateur setup. The difference is we used to have one of the best teams in the world papering over what lay beneath.
