We are on a new path with a new outlook, we haven't played one competitive game yet but for all that has been negative this past 3 weeks with injuries, scandals and general doom mongering about the euro competition I say its time to think positively even if only for a few hours till kick off. It'll have been worth the 4 year wait when we lift silverware this coming May.

Best of luck to the coaching ticket, the players, the loyal fans and everybody for the coming season. Enjoy it!

    Here Here, Cant wait..!!!!
Article by Nigel Melville - Gloucester Coach

Fingers get burned when the home fire is stoked in Munster. I suggest that any rugby fan who hasn\'t visited Thomond Park should get over there for the next Heineken Cup match. Only by being in Limerick on a big match day can you understand why the place is such a fortress.

We'll sedate you for the journey or you could sit up front and pretend to drive!

Irrational jarres number 473 - describing things as a "journey".

          Fully support thé sentiment otherwise.

When there's a photo of Pom taken next May like axels one above you'll realise the whole journey started today

              And auto-correct.

              Hate auto-correct.

              Love Munster.

                Couldnt agree more, great thread!

What could mean more to Munster people than having a full local coaching ticket with a squad full of local lads busting a gut to play for their home province? Two local academy lads stepping up to the plate tonight too.

Heineken cups with the Toulon/Saracens/Clermont model? They can have em!

I can see a few results this season that will surprise people outside of Munster, its time we win in Ravenhill and Dublin again and make TP a place that teams genuinely hate to visit.

But, another hope for the season is that people are as critical of the Coaching ticket this season as they were of the last 2, just because the current administration are homegrown doesn't mean they can under perform in any aspect and get away with it.

The journey has just started. Give it a chance.
"We are going to hope to keep improving the environment in Munster. It’s about improving and setting standards where players and coaches can improve. Hopefully we can offer that more than just money.” Johann Van Graan 20/12/2017

No point being on a journey unless its a rollercoaster, makes it all the more interesting and exciting.

Fasten your seatbelts the journey has started.
