What would you like to see from a new backs coach?

Simple question, difficult to answer. When Leinster were at their pomp under Pope Josef they had a startlingly simple but effective backs armoury of plays and angles.

The days of scoring off first phase seem rarer and rarer, so what would you like to see the next backs coach employ or envision for our team?

I don't want to see any bells being unrung.

I don't want to see any bags of hammers being compared with another bag of tools.

We should revert to 10 man rugby and eliminate the need for a backs coach.

a tactical nous, an appreciation of space and how to create it and an ability to take what he has been given in terms of players and improve them individually and collectively. Other than that, not much really.

How could I have overlooked such a vital component. Axel knew Eddie was next up for the interview because he heard him clomping down the corridor in his wooden shoes.

Ducks in a row, of course. Ya johnny-come-lately bandwagoner.
