    Omens are good

In the 2005-6 Heineken Cup, Munster
    • lost their first match (away),
    • needed a bonus point win in their last match (at home) to get a home quarter final,
    • drew a French team (USAP) in the QF and either Leinster or another French Team, the reigning champions (ST) away in the SF.

They also lost to Leinster, Llanelli and Ulster away in the Celtic League.

EDIT: the final was in Cardiff.

    So, how has 2013-4 gone?
    • Lost first match? Check!
    • Needed a bonus point win in the last match for a home QF? Check!
    • French team at home in QF? Check!
    • Leinster or the holders away in the SF? Check!

Well, I was told this morning, by a blue magoo, that we are Ireland's 3rd best team and we're going nowhere. I remember losing to them on Saturday, however I don't remember it being a whitewash of a win. It hurt but bitter is motivation. I will say it again...we have the players and that's without doubt. Do we have the heart and the stomach for it...without doubt. I 'll take Omens and luck.
Tic-Toc. POC and DOC. Stop the clock.

                      Indeed.

My "Mystic Meggery" however is unpaid and often, like free legal advice (ask T78), is worth exactly what you pay for it.

Six months ago I couldn't spell Engineer and now I are one.

As a Munster fan I wouldn't rate us currently above Leinster and I would say both ulster and ourselves have a bit of catching up to do as regards player development and academy structures etc. but on any given day with full teams available I think we could go toe to toe with any irish team and come out on top .i am hopeful for the future though and looking forward to what Anthony foley brings as head coach . For me back up at scrum half , centre( possibly both positions ) and full back are areas where we struggle if missing front line players , would love to see henshaw at Munster but he has committed to Connacht
Still there's a light I hold before me

                              Much more importantly

1.Toulouse's away record is unbelievably bad this year i mean its a f$$king joke for the squad they have its what 3-4 in all competitions this year !!!.

2.Not to forget we have every Irish mans favorite referee officiating Nigel O'wens

3.They've never played here before and judging by the quotes this week they've got their excuses in early

4.To Qualify for the Top 14 play-off places they need wins in all three remaining rounds to advance their heads just wont be in this fight

I predict a classic munster victory over a very flippant/mentally fragile group of toulouse players that will paper over most if not all the cracks in team Penny. Which will result in quite a rude awakening in any semi-final involving the Harlem globetrotters a.k.a Toulon
