    Leadership

There were alot of home truths learned last night not least the fact that ROG is not a captain-he doesn`t have the temperament to mix it with all his other roles. There was very little leadership last night and we were beaten by a hungrier and faster team. The hunger was always likely to be an issue this season with other teams looking to knock us off our perch.

Our middle five were totally destroyed last night and it was here that we needed our leaders to stand up and be counted.

Management should also take the blame for some of the above as well as team selection. JK wasn`t ready to comeback to that type of game and Murphy should have played 13 until Mafi learns the defensive system. Dowling is not up to it either.

Yeah it's very painful to take, but.....
Llanelli were brilliant and didnt let us play.
Paul O'Connell makes a massive difference.

This is more or less the same team that lost to Leicester 2003, Wasps
2004 , Biarritz 2005 and then won it. So don't write them all off just yet
and credit to the scarlets, there were two teams on the pitch.

Agreed Scarlets were excellent-they were everything we usually are-a mirror image of how we played against Sale (and others)in TP. Popham targetted our ball carriers the same way as Axel would.
