Ian Nagle...... Progress or a flash in the pan?

Just wondered has anyone seen Ian Nagle play recently? At the start of the season, he looked an absolute monster which made me think this could finally be his year. I haven't heard a whisper about him since.

He was injured but almost back now. Could feature for club thsi weekend

From Munster Rugby site: Ian Nagle is on the comeback trail too and, although he has not been named in the Munster squad, could feature for Cork Con this weekend
"There are a lot of points that we’ve left behind and this is with a young group. That probably tells you what they’re capable of and that they’re a very good side.

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

What was the injury and how long was he out, do you know? He seems to spend a fair amount of time in the treatment room.

Ian had a shoulder injury end of last season then injured his left foot earlier this season against Zebre IIRC

            Cheers.
With any luck, he'll get a bit of game time over the coming weeks and maybe a run during the 6 nations. I know hes still young but its borderline 'a wasted talent' of late. Never really kicked on since that massive performance against Oz.

ha? Are the players not all equal, were the junior players not allowed home?

He must be highly thought of so as he's just recovered from an injury.

Smart move - if a player's only going to be a tackle bag holder then why not get academy / development / returning from injury players to do that rather than prevent the provinces using them.
The system is dead! Long live the process!

This is common practise lads! paddy butler was up in carton house a year r two ago...nothing in it basically whats said above they are just brought in to hold bags and make up the numbers to allow players be released back to get game time
