    Your 2013/14 match day 23

The season's fast approaching now and I'm sure we've all a fair enough idea of what we think our strongest match day 23 will be before a ball is even tucked under a jumper.
Let's all have a look at what we think would be our best squad this coming season. Current injuries can be ignored. Just put out your strongest squad.

Here's what I reckon would be the strongest squad.

    15 - Earls
    14 - Conway
    13 - LLL
    12 - Downey
    11 - Zebo
    10 - Keatley
    9 - Murray
    1 - Killer
    2 - Sherry
    3 - Botha
    4 - Ryan
    5 - O'Connell
    6 - O'Mahony
    7 - O'Donnell
    8 - Stander

Replacements: Archer, Varley, Cronin, Do. O'Callaghan, Butler, Sheridan, JJ, VDH

I'd love to see JJ really push for a starting place this year, wheather it be at 10 or 12, but he may be another year off that. I'd also like to see somebody put their hands up to come in ahead of DOC, but if he can reproduce last year's form, then they'll have their work cut out for them.
I reckon VDH will be on the bench at a minimum to justify his signing. Serious questions will have to be asked if we sign another player who doesn't see much gametime through his first season here.

Roger Roger. What's our vector, Victor?

I still think there's a big enough question mark over Casey's claim to the 13 shirt ahead of Earls. His form for all but 2-3 games last season was desperately inconsistent and he'll have to do a lot better this season to convince me he deserves to start there by default rather than be a utility/impact sub.
    Tis but a scratch.

Doesn't matter. You will be in Malla.

That pack is a thing of gruesome beauty. 4-5-6-7 worthy of almost any team in the league.

We'd wanna be fairly mullering lesser packs this season. Walking them all over the field

If LLL continues where he finished last season then i think having both him and Earls on the pitch strengthens us. Jones hasnt done much to make him a guarunteed starter this year either, when he comes back from injury.

JCC - I dont see Cawlin being involved much at all this year except maybe during international windows. If hes not first choice hes not versatile enough for the bench

Can't see Cawlin not getting picked tbh. He'd a barnstormer in Montpellier and the man is a massive pack leader.

Would like to see him softening them up for the wrecking ball from the Bulls

Agree. A leader and arguably our most valuable player (consistent and effective) for the last 2-3 seasons.

Cawlin's perfect as your new Mick O'Driscoll as captain while pom and poc are off.

Van der Heever could obviously figure but I am going to reserve any judgement on him until we see him in a Munster jersey.

I can't see how Conway, CJ, or JJ could be reasonably included at this stage.
