Fantastic news if true. With Dutchy gone too, we're moving in the right direction.

Just hope we can get a proper professional manager in place, who is not part of the old boy network!

We can always hope, but my money's on Axel being made head coach a season or two too early.

The more I think about Axel getting the main gig, the more I'm reminded of the disaster @Ulster when McCall was also given the job too early. He is only now getting back to form at Sarries.

Are we really going to risk all these young players futures on a very inexperienced head coach? If so, then it is one hell of a risk at such a time, and to pair him with Umaga would be an absolute recipe for disaster!

Any chance the blown-in from Kildare will get his P45?

Johne Murphy? No chance, somehow he was given another two years. The waekest of our wings - he is now behind LOD, Zebo, Dougie and Earls - and is incapable of playing 13 or 15. He'd be better off @Connacht - we'll take TOH in return!!!

I think that is a bit harsh on Murphy. A good squad member. A wing but not a centre.

                          Not a player.

Not for the want of trying.
