Cheers for the updates, sounds bleak enough
It is useless to attempt to reason a man out of a thing he was never reasoned into.

Every plan I have is the best plan in the room. Everybody get quiet and listen to it, and everybody will win

I'd say it was "Men against Boys" except they were all more or less the same age as far as I could see.

The speed, accuracy in the pass and handling of the Leinster backs and forwards was frightening at times.

That said, we fouled up numerous lineouts at least two of which led to tries and they scored from two intercepts as well.

In fairness to our lads, they never gave up.

We suffered from the inability or unwillingness to let the ball out to the Girls after a few phases close to the line. (Not unlike the Firsts)

Read about it on some other site. Bit depressing and pretty normal . Feels like that anyway. Huge work ahead on skills etc for the coaches. Or is it that we cant close the gap because Leinster schools level has put young dublin etc players on a footing that is miles ahead of where we are in limerick cork etc?

It's all about resources - Leinster schools acting as academies and delivering large numbers of quality players into the professional set up. Having watched the under 19s interpro series recently, Leinster was also significantly ahead of the other provences at that level also. Hard to see how this can be addressed.
Its deja vu all over again!!!

Didn't the Leinster U18 club team trash Munster U18 clubs the other week. I don't think they've that many more club players than Munster in terms of percentage.

I think in general (including with the underage club interprovincial sides), the underage coaching in Leinster is ahead of the other provinces. There is good organisation and an emphasis on passing, handling and skill development. I don't think Munster or Connacht can wholly blame the (relative) lack of productivity of their academies on smaller population, fewer private schools, or less resources, although it definitely doesn't help. Wallowing in self-pity and looking for excuses won't help the situation.

Barring unfortunate bounce for 1st try, the first 15 mins from Leinster on Friday was all about skill.
Passing and running lines at pace were very good. They cut us open pretty easily with super handling. They may have eased up after that.
We won the rest of the match 21-19.
Our handling wasn't as slick. We had 3 balls in midfield attack that did not go to hand.
We sorted lineout and subs made a difference.

Munster schools defeated Leinster schools in the recent interpros.

CBC and PBC are not far off St. Michaels/Blackrock in terms of support/coaching structures.
