I haven't seen much of him (that i've noticed) is it up to it?

After a missed season, Pau decided to turn a page, not keeping many players. To date, eight are no longer included in the Pau plans for the 2019/2020 financial year and have not yet found a drop-off point. Canadian stalwart Matt Tierney (23), Irish second-row Dave Foley (31), but also five third-row, with Englishman Steffon Armitage (33), Australian Ben Mowen (34), Neo Zealander Peter Saili (31), as well as the two Irishmen Sean Dougall (29) and Paddy Butler (28). Winger Adrien Planté, 34, is also still without a club.

Sunrise - sunset. Players attracted by the Gallic € are now left high and dry.

It’s a tough life there, some handy enough players for teams below province /premiership level

Watching the Ireland U20 games, think Ben Healy is outstanding prospect and would say his kicking is comparable to ROG

He’s a big lad too. Bit like Sexton in his build.

Healy is a great prospect. His kicking from hand is very accurate but also has great length. Its a great weapon to have.

Flannery is another big talent. One of the top offloaders in the competition so far. He has great awareness and playmaking ability.

Ireland have a 100% kicking record in the U20 world cup with both those lads kicking.

Hopefully they won't have to wait years to get regular gametime.

Very impressed by both- particularly Healy- but there will be a fair queue for the 10 slot, JJ (hopefully Ireland No1 post WC), JJ/TB and themselves. I think JJ/TB will have to have moved to 12/15 or moved on for either to get game time the season after next. At least we have a top 10 on the back room staff to help manage this process.

People have mentioned previously getting a top class 12 in. By the sounds of it Ma’a Nonu has not made the All Black RWC squad. Doubt he would stay on at the Blues for another super rugby season so maybe a one year contract as he can still break the line and get the pass away - someone the younger guys can learn off especially with Larkham now a signed deal....

Barring serious injury during the World Cup/early season, I don’t think we’ll see any serious signing- new coaching set up, will want to see what they have and how it’s shaping before hiring. Besides, I think we’ll see a mix of and TB/JJ providing support at 12, because of the talent coming through at 10.

Kendellan and Okeke still in school.

Buckley needs to earn place via sub-academy.

Eoin O'Connor is joining straight from school.
