That's because they are distinct and nothing to do with the GAA.

Puc pitch anyway is in s bad way. It’s being dug up and redone after this years championship. Why it wasn’t done during the renovations is just beggars belief.

Very OTT analogy. The clubs are part of the organisation and get funding from the organisation so it’s not unreasonable to expect them to follow the rules or to work within the system to change them. (We bitch and moan about English rugby clubs rebelling against their governing body all the time.) I think the organisation should change those rules but the clubs are not exactly being exploited or held hostage.

Well, i think this this settles the argument, PuiC has a ****hole of a pitch, if a hurling game kicks up divots, what will a rugby match do?

There is nothing wrong with the pitch. I was talking to frank earlier and he said there are a few administrations loose ends resulting from the extensive renovations and that they would be resolved by the close of business.

If the pitch was fixed there may be hope of a semi final in Cork.

Is there a chance the track could bend?

I have to agree that the pitch is atrocious, I watched the hurling Cork v. Wexford and couldn't believe the state of it. Imagine, spending over €100 Million on upgrading a Stadium and neglecting to ensure that you have a quality playing surface.
