Feel sorry for Connacht, we're taking a player from them who can't play for us in the HEC, only the ML.
Shameless self promotion time ladies and gents!
    Munster: Early Season
Munster: Escape from Pool of Death
    Munster: HEC Champions 2007/2008
    Munster: Full Season Highlights.

thats what we need. All the slagging we get for fielding weak ML teams. Several more in fact.

Incredibly harsh on Connacht.* The IRFU have again shown just how they feel about the smaller province.

Would he not be cup tied if he's played for Connacht in the Parker Pen?

Connacht fly-half Paul Warwick is join Munster at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old will be Ronan O'Gara's understudy next season after agreeing terms with Declan Kidney's side.

Warwick has made 65 appearances for Connacht since joining them from Manly in 2004 on a one-year deal.<div id="story_island"> </div>

His haul of 97 points made him the top scorer in the European
Challenge Cup in his first season and led to a two-year contract
              extension.

A former Australian U-21 star, his appearances for the Aussie sevens
side, which he captained, have ruled him ineligible to play for Ireland.

Warwick has been Connacht's top scorer for the past few seasons,
with 239 points in 46 Celtic League games and 157 points in 19
appearances in the European Challenge Cup.

Connacht CEO Gerry Kelly said he was disappointed that Warwick was moving to Munster.

'He was very much part of our plans going forward, as he has been
central to our side since we brought him over from Australia almost
              three years ago.

'We wish him well in his career but we are disappointed that he is leaving Connacht at this stage,' said Kelly.

No idea. While I understand the need for a quality player, I'm not sure bringing in another non-Irish qualified halfback is a good idea.

EDIT: Yes, ep, you're correct. I was commenting on the fact that initial reports stated he was joining us until the end of the season.

                      Great news!

Warwick is a class act and will strengthen the Munster squad. I think Munster should off load some players to Connacht in return.

Well, he has been fecked about a bit with Connacht. they play him at 10,12 and 13. I have been screaming for years to sign him.

He has the ability to play 2 5/8 or can be a very creative thirteen.
But if he was to be our 12 our entire style whould change completely.
