            The Irish Times reports Flannery playing the first 40 minutes in Shannon’s 33-28 friendly win against Galwegians at Limerick IT Grounds. I guess he came through the 40 minutes OK?

                              The three players who were replaced through injury in Saturdays win over Benetton Treviso, Doug Howlett, Marcus Horan and Tony Buckley, all look se for a period on the sideline.
                              Howlett tweaked a hamstring late in the opening half is definiely out of next weekend's Magners League clash with Edinburgh while Buckley will have a scan today to determine the extent of the damage to his calf muscle and Horan will have further tests after being replaced in the 15th minute of the game in Thomond Park Stadium.
