Team for Dragons to be announced on 3rd

Munster will wait until late tomorrow afternoon before announcing a squad for the trip to Newport for the game against Newport Gwent Dragons (Friday 7.10pm).

Munster trained in Cork this morning where Anthony Foley, Marcus Horan Mick O'Driscoll and Anthony Foley took a part with coach Declan Kidney opting to delay naming a panel until tomorrow afternoon. "It's great to see those lads back training particularly given the sort of schedule we have. But we'll wait and see how they come through before we announce a panel. Its a tough schedule for the players with three games in nine days so we just need to give them as much time as possible before deciding on who we will bring. David Wallace took a knock as well on the same shoulder as he did against Leinster so he needs time as well".

Defeats at the hands of France and Wales had put paid to their title aspirations, never mind a Grand Slam, but yesterday’s emphatic 24-8 win shows that this is a team moving in the right direction."

Great to hear that the lads are on the way back, but judging by other reports, it looks like Axel is the only one with a reasonable chance of making it. If Wally is rested then we may see Leamy go to 7, Axel at 8 and JOS at 6 with Coughlan on the bench. Still a good backrow.

Whats the story with McGann and Horgan?

                I was thinking something similar.

Would prefer a stronger side, but think that in the main they will
avoid playing players three full games in a row. DOC, JK and Frankie
                    being the exceptions.

Reckon Hurley will get another run, think O'Leary is going to stay as a
                        back 3 player.

                        Any news on Flannery?

I want to see more of Ryan and definitely more of Hurley in remaining ML games. We can still give Hayes and Horan (when back) game time while fitting around those guys but fact is they are the future and we're not going to win the ML so why not?
