    Rugby pubs/general info

We're coming over in a couple of weeks for the Sale game and I'm wondering where people would recommend for watching the other euro games during the weekend? Also how do we get from the city centre TP on matchday?
Sorry for all the questions, but already excited for the weekend over there!

Where is your accomidation? You can walk from city to TP in 15-20 mins, plenty of bars will show all the games. It's a small place

If you walk into town there are busses that go out to TP.
But then you could always walk out there, stopping along the way for " refreshments".
            Follow the Red Jerseys.

Getting to TP is easy from your hotel (most will know it as Jurys Inn). The hotel is just by the Shannon river. You will see lots of red jerseys passing by, crossing the river, walking a further 600m or so and then turning right at the traffic lights. Go straight up that road and you will see Thomond Park.

It's just as easy from everywhere else in Limerick too.

Most pubs will be showing Rugby, Dolans is about 400m from your hotel. Decent food there at a reasonable cost. Go towards the roundabout beside your hotel, turn left and keep walking and its on your left. But anywhere down town (the other direction) Myles Breen, Flannerys, Lockes etc will be showing the games.

Any chance you'd beat Clermont first?

Very central, the clarion which is close to that bridge generally has some activity as the Munster team tends to stay there, at the next bridge upriver on the opposite side the strand hotel is a good spot for one on your way to or from TP, and the opposition team sometimes stay there.

you will find your way around easily, head for jerry flannerys maybe for some of the other games
