Qualifiers for next year's Super Dooper Cup

I know this is being a bit previous, the league positions will change on a weekly basis but here goes .....

( Recap: The teams for next year's Super Dooper Cup are:
    • The PRL top 6
    • The Top14 top 6
    • The leading team from each union in the Pro12
    • The next three teams in the Pro 12
    • The winners of a play-off competition involving the 7th team in the PRL, the 7th team in the Top 14 and the highest team in the Pro12 that have not qualified. If the winners of the Challenge Cup have not qualified through their league, they will play in the play-offs taking the place of the team from their league. )

At present, the teams in the qualification spots for next year's competition are:
    • Pro12: Ospreys, Connacht, Glasgow, Zebre, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Ulster.
    • Top 14: Montpellier, Clermont, Toulon, Stade Francais, Grenoble and Toulouse.
    • PRL: Exeter, Northampton, Leicester, Saracens, Bath and Harlequins
    • Play-offs: Semi-Finals: Lyon v Scarlets/Munster and London Irish v Munster/Scarlets. Venue for final to be drawn.

The current table on the Pro12 website is incorrect and Ulster should be ranked above the Scarlets so would take their qualification place.

Based upon the Pro12 rules, if teams are equal in terms of points, wins, tries etc. etc. then it comes to fewest number of red cards then yellow cards and thanks to Liam Williams, Ulster have fewer than Scarlets.

Sometimes I wonder about people who know this stuff.

The way things are, there won't be a Super dooper cup to qualify for next year..

Munster are above Cardiff on the table, wouldn't that mean we'd have a place in the new competition

                Current qualification spots are:

Pro12: Ospreys, Glasgow, Connacht, Zebre, Ulster, Munster, Scarlets.
Top 14: Clermont, Toulon, Montpellier, Bordeaux Begles, Racing Metro, Stade Francais.
PRL: Bath, Saracens, Northampton, Exeter, Leicester, Harlequins.

EDIT according to the Super Dooper Cup website, the format of the play-offs has been changed. In the new arrangement, the 8th placed Pro12 team or the best placed team that hasn't already qualified will play the PRL 7th placed team at a venue to be decided by a draw and the winners of that game will be at home to the 7th Placed Top14 team.

Working on that format, Leinster would play Sale with the winners at home to Grenoble

We need another province. I reckon we could get 5 in. What happened to the auld province of Meath?
So I walked as day was dawning
Where small birds sang and leaves were falling
Where we once watched the row boats landing
                        By the broad majestic shannon

So we just need to keep Glasgow & Ospreys in the top 6 and then beat everyone else
