Eric Baker, CEO and founder of viagogo said: “We’re proud to add Leicester Tigers to our list of partners. Now rugby fans can buy or sell tickets in a safe, secure and guaranteed way without having to take the risk of buying tickets from unauthorised online or matchday touts."

“We welcome the opportunity to work with viagogo," said Tigersmanaging directorDavid Clayton. "As the country’s best supported rugby club it’s an obvious choice for us to partner with Europe’s leading secondary ticketing business and add value to our fans with a service we know they’ll appreciate.”

Some clubs flatter their supporters and pretend that they matter - others put their money where their mouth is.

As a Leicester Tigers season ticket holder. I think the scheme is b****x. When I cant get to games because I am at a Munster game I pass my ticket on free of charge. Usually the person makes a donation to the 'Matt Hampson Trust' off their own back. Cheap shot that missed the target.

Actually thinking about the 10 year tickets, the club's members and the MRSC's members have someone to represent them at Munster Rugby meetings, but what about the 10yrtkt holders ? Who will represent their interests ?

If thereare variousallocations for away games, shouldn't the potentially 4,00010yrtkt holders be included in that ?

I emailed them a while back enquiring about what you get in terms of away games and a few other bits. They never even came back to me which was very poor of them. It gave the impression that all they want to do is catch suckers for the money without putting any effort into it.

How do you make this out? Apart from supplying most of the players and supporters to Munster rugby what else should the clubs be offering?
I'd be interested in how you figure that. The MRSC 'supplies' most of the supporters to Munster Rugby through season ticket sales.

i.e. has a member of the supporters club who is in from the very beginning, but only has a thomond park season ticket, given preference over anyone.

My assumption is that a dual season ticket holder who has only been a full member for one year would have more entitlements than the above mentioned member. Perhaps its something that consideration could be given to

A rumour of bad news re MRSC allocation.

A well placed source has intimated that the MRSC are being allocated 400 tickets for the QF, which is shocking since they got 700 for the Welford Road match with about the same tickets being given to Munster.

The supporters club "supplies" 2000 members to HEC games Cathal, the clubs get a whole lot more tickets.

<DIV>that's all that they are allowed to supply for HEC matches though. they could supply much much more. for example the 1000's of season ticket holders. the 9000+(guesstimate) actual members.</DIV>

As Ruck says, that's because the clubs grab all the other tickets.

How many do the clubs supply to the ML games? Or as a total of all supporters at all Munster games in a season?

The clubs were around and taking tickets long before the supporters club existed, why should the supporters club skip the queue for tickets? We are taking about different sides of the same coin here anyway, most of the MRSC members are probably club members too, the clubs "own" Munster rugby, the clubs are the academies for Munster rugby, I can't see how this is a problem for some people.

Because the MRSC represents the season ticket holders? You know, the true Munster Rugby fans.

And how many of them turn up for the AGM?

I don't know, why? Does turning up at ML games but not the AGM make anyone less of a supporter?
