Camping sites in Cardiff?

Anyone got any details for the campsites in Cardiff?

I've just booked the ferry, all I need is accommodation, tickets, money, a tent, more money and a spare liver for afterwards.

    Not a bother.

Toby, I threw them all into Google Earth and no. 3 (Pontcanna) is nearest town, but is full. No 4 isn't too far away (5 miles as the crow flies) and is first come, first served for tents. The last one is near No. 4 so probably the same idea.

                    3, 4/6, 1, 2/5

4 and 6 would probably be the best. 4 definatly has a pub on site.

Never seen any of the others but 1 (Llantwit Major) is on the train route into Cardiff. 3 is city centre but as said, probably booked up. 4 and 6 wouldn't be far from Penarth.

2 and 5 could well be in the sticks to be honest.

Boys, Im a Scarlet Fan in London and am coming to the final with 3 heart broken Saracen Lads. We did have Hotel booked but it was light years away. We have had vibes about this place. Its been used by many of you before. Choice spend our whole night trying to get to Mythyr or Camp with aload of you. Sorry it didnt take long Hotel got binned. Spoke to the manager and he says tent pitch is £10 per person per night. Thats if they see everyone!!

Sorry did I say the site has got a pub!

They are even mustering all the locals to help be unofficial cab drivers to get people in and ou of Cardiff. Think its only about 5-6 miles, which a darn site closer than where we were!!

We camped last time and got the following note yesterday

Anyone wishing to park up a Camper Van should email Ray (raymond.hawkins4@ntlworld.com) or me, Nigel(good Welsh name) at np_buns@hotmail.com.

Unfortunately our rugby posts will be down by the 24th - but the
Munsterfans forum could always challenge us to a game of skittles. The
Munster fans were fantastic in 2006 - this time around (with the rugby
& Bowls tours both completed) we will give you more than decent
competition in the beer & singing stakes!

Biggest challenge for the Munster folk - does anyone/can anyone possibly know more first lines to songs than the Buns' Edgar?
