Proposed new rules to be tried out.

According to RTÉ a number of Law changes will or might be trialled.

50-22 If a team kicks from its own half "indirectly" into touch within the opponent's 22, they will get the throw in at the lineout.
RTÉ also mention kicking from within one's own 22 into the opponent's half but it's not clear whether this kick must be "indirect" as well.
This has been recommended for a trial.

    More research.

The defenders at a ruck can't move 'till the first receiver has the ball or 'till the Scrummie doesn't pass.

    To be trialled.

Review a Yellow Card to see if it should have been red.
    To be trialled.

Bring in a limit to Pens and Free kicks which, once reached results in a yellow for the last offender.
To be trialled in the Aussie NRC.

Award a Drop out from the Goal line when an attacking player is held up over the line.
To be trialled in the NRC.

High Tackle Technique warning as per the U20s WC to be further trialled.

Some potential changes in tackle laws will be trialled in France at domestic level.
