Great results for Limerick resulting in a 'Home' Munster Final. You would have to fancy Limerick to win, top 4 players rested and played away from home yesterday and only lost by 4 points. Yesterday's game was not played in true championship intensity the next day will be a very different story.

Shocked that Galway are out. A year ago they looked unbeatable.
am sure the others are delighted.
Not sure about Limerick v Tipp Its not always easy for a team to pick it up again, losing can become a habit and the poor play of some of the Limerick players, especially forwards must be a concern. Pressure on Limerick the next day - if they lose twice to Tipp could they beat them the third go round?

Congratulations Luimneach, very impressive win over Tipp. Hard to see them being stopped

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

So it's Cork v Westmeath with the winners playing Kilkenny and Dublin v Laois with the winners playing Tipp.

                  This.

Any chance of them putting the 2 Cork or the 2 Laois matches as a double header next weekend.... hardly.

Or put all 3 on in croke park and tell westlife to flock off.

Presumably if Tipp beat Dublin (or Laois who will give Dublin a test) then they'll face Wexford in the semifinal. While Limerick will play Cork or Kilkenny. Tipp have the easier side of the draw. Not that Limerick will mind.
If Tipp had lost yesterday by a few points I'm sure they be looking forward to a rematch in the AI. But a big test now for Sheehy after that annihilation. Limerick should have won by more

I doubt it Lar, Laois and Westmeath are unlikely to give up the home venue to which both of them are entitled.

Cork might be persuaded to give up the neutral venue to which they are entitled but only if they were to get something back. Given that the Páirc is being resurfaced and, therefore is unavalilable, I can't see what they would be offered.

5:00 Cavan v Tyrone Clones; Cork v Laois Thurles

                          7:00 Galway v Mayo Limerick!!

                          Sunday
2:00 Meath v Clare Portlaoise RTÉ

                          3:00 Westmeath v Cork Mullingar

                          4:15 Laois v Dublin Portlaoise

It seems Galway and Mayo wouldn't toss for home venue and the Hyde isn't big enough.

The beaten provincial finalists should get home advantage - GAA needs to either get rid of provincials or do all they can to make winning them more attractive. Certainly in football. Can see the argument in hurling for giving the Ring teams home advantage

Laois taking on Dublin in the football means a full house, so they won’t change that, there is a good chance of another Cork double header in July, with the hurlers vs Kilkenny and Footballers against Dublin, presumably that won’t be accommodated either.

Hurling quarter-finals to be played as a double-header on Sunday 14th July at Croke Park. Dublin v Cork/Laois is on the previous evening. Been a long-time since Dublin v Laois would get you a full house in Croke Park.
