It seems that Head to Head counts if it is two teams that are level but if three (or more) teams are level it's overall Points Difference. Even if one team has beaten the other two, it still would appear to go to to overall points difference.

You gotta love RTÉ. Cork and Waterford is on sky sports and RTE are showing a soccer match between Norway and Nigeria in a competition that Ireland are not even in. Public broadcasting my hole.

Cork won handy enough but they conceded the only two goals that Waterford scored this year.

They were clean through a good few times in the first half but took their points rather than going for goal and putting Waterford away.

That won't do later on in the season

Hard to see mgt team in Clare staying on once they exit the championship.

Limerick looking very, very impressive and could still do Clare a big favour - IF Limerick can beat Tipperary and Clare beat Cork - Clare are back in at the expense of Cork.

Good to see Galway take on TJ Reid and beat him in Nowlan Park, also nice to see a Referee not be intimidated by KK tactics, that said fair play to Galway for standing toe to toe with them

Tipp are plus 38, Limerick are Plus 31, Cork are plus 13 and Clare are minus 30.

                    If Limerick and Cork win.

A four point win for Limerick would put them ahead of Tipp.

Cork would have to beat Clare by 25 points minus Limerick's margin of victory to catch Tipp.

If Tipp and Clare win, Clare would have to beat Cork by 61 points minus Tipp's margin of victory to get to the Final. They would have to beat Cork by 22 points to get third spot.

If the Scoring difference is even, then Scores For will decide followed by Goals Scored. If teams are still level, then a Play-off is needed.

A lot of chatter about the hurling being poor - yes, Munster championship has been poor so far - too many lopsided results - and Leinster not much better (didnt see Galway v Kilkenny yet which sounds like it was the standout game so far)
But its set up nicely for the games to come - Limerick, Tipp, Cork, Galway and to a lesser extent Kilkenny seem like a cut above the rest and seem evenly matched, and there should be some cracking games to come.

Kilkenny Galway was probably the pick of them alright, but both teams had a few players that didn’t turn up who were compensated for by the likes of TJ Reid and Cathal Manion.

Kilkenny didn’t start Richie hogan and Walter Walsh was on the bench so they have a bit to go yet, Johnny Glynn didn’t look his sharpest either.

Offaly lose 1-18 to 1-16 in Tralee and go down to the Christy Ring.

They had a man sent off after eight minutes, harshly by all accounts and from the same sources, a much worse foul from a Kerryman in the second half only got a yellow.

Of course they say, don't they, that the weaker teams never get a break from referees.

As I type, the Dubs are beating Galway and it's level in Wexford. All four teams are level on five points.

Kilkenny play Wexford in the final with the Dubs in the Play off and Galway out.

and now Wexford lead Kilkenny with the other game level so it's Wexford v Galway with Kilkenny in the playoff and Dublin out.

As full time approaches, it's the Dubs and Kilkenny winning. They will meet in the final with Galway in the Play-off and Wexford out.
