    Rugby League - NRL

Started back yesterday with a bang.

South Sydney putting a downer on Sonny Bills return to the code with a big win. Greg Inglis ran the show for the Rabbitohs. Similarly Steve Matai led with Daly Cherry-Evans as Manly brushed past the Broncos.

Sonny Bill was greeted to loud cheers and equally loud Boos from fans. Finished off the match by scoring a late consolation. Highlight Sam Burgess, check this out

Two more results today, and two more comprehensive victories with the Eels who were last seasons worst demolishing the NZ Warriors with Jarrad Hayne looking sharp scoring a hat-trick.

The big money free agent at the end of this season JT (Johnaton Thurston) led the Cowboys to victory against last yrs grand final runners up the Bulldogs.

On an another note, the Cronulla Sharks seem in disarray with a PED scandal ripping through the franchise, with Head Coach sacked this week and talks of a player strike, few links below for those interested

I see you like your RL - do you watch Super League at all?
Failure lies not in falling down, Failure lies in not getting up.

Ya a bit, i find the skill level and hits to be higher in NRL, same as the Super compared to rest of NH. Think the Super League is too one sided with Warrington and Leeds being way stronger than most teams, barring the occasional slip up against weaker sides

Watching the challenge cup on the beeb. It's a game without nuance as far as I can see, undoubtedly quicker than union and seems higher scoring. Not quite as tactical, but somewhat enjoyable.

If you enjoy this i'd highly recommend watching the NRL. Have been following it all year, SBW is flying fit and more destructive than ever. This coming weekend there'll be some big gamees, Penrith playing Sydney Roosters (both playing well - SBWs team), South Sydney Rabbitohs playing the North Queensland Cowboys. Game of the weekend probably be Cronulla Sharks playing NZ Warriors. Would recommend watch any game TBH, some cracking hits, offloads and the intensity is through the roof.

I have been following Hull FC since I moved here in 96 and this year has been very up and down. I was quietly confident today tho and backed them at 4/1 to win. My Skybet account now has a healthier balance

It's funny - that's what my friends here say when I show them hurling matches!
