Jadeja and Dhoni are having a right go at it. They have put on 53 in 10.2 overs and need 90 to win in the last 10 overs. Of course, NZ need four wickets to win, although if they were to get one of these out soon, that might do.

62 needed from 6 overs with four wickets left.

Jadeja is caught. 208 for 7. 32 needed from 13 balls. It's all up to Dhoni now, and I wouldn't back against him.

Dhoni is run out by a direct hit. 23 needed of the last over two wickets left.

            EDIT one wicket left.

Great effort by NZ. India will be kicking themselves for letting a real chance to be champions slip. 3rd time Kohli has been out for 1 in WC semis

England have Austraaalia by the goolagongs at this point.

Indeed they had. The Aussies made somewhat of a comeback, though and have made 223.

Engerland should be able to score four and a half an over while staying in but you never know.

Stephen Smith comes on to bowl and gets hit for three consecutive sixes. 21 off his first over.

EDIT: Smith was not asked to bowl again.

England win by eight wickets with 17.5 overs to spare.

By any measure, that's a High Ding*.

We're relying on the Kiwis now to put a brake on Doris Johnson's all singing and dancing OD cricket XI. Gulp.

New Zealand won the toss, batted and made 241for 8.

England are 111 for 4 after 29 overs.
