Women’s Hockey

Great to see Ireland taking on and beating the mighty India
(2-1 in Dublin yesterday)in the same week a limerick man
qualifies for Wimbledon proper. I think there's a another world
cup approaching.

It's tennis week ustix..
I dunno about anyone else but there was never any hockey played where I grew up, except for the indoor variety at youth club that regularly resulted in black eyes and other bashes & bruises and lots of broken hockey sticks. And I'm damn sure I don't ever remember there being rules involved either.

Actually maybe if you are a hockey expert you could suggest which hockey sessions at the olympics I should think of applying for if I wanted to cheer on an irish team ?

I know very little of any value Lass, just that these girls are
only working a four day week in the runup to the World Cup
AND they have to live in the capital. I salute them.
I also thank you for sharing. I was starting to feel very alone.

P.S. Google Google is pretty good for finding out things

Well done them- Netherlands look invincible, though.
