Yup. All good. Can play in 4 balls too, but no competitions, access to the clubhouse restaurant or bar. Players just need to maintain social distancing and go & return from the course alone or with members of their own household only.... looking forward to it already!!

Looks like J. P. McManus and Adare Manor are to host the 2026 Ryder Cup.

    Formal announcement expected this morning.

Delighted for Lowry but another homecoming in Clara fills me with dread. Economic headwinds, no room for manoeuvre with interest rates and quantitative easing, Brexit, Boris and Trump.

It appears the Open Golf Trophy has been renamed. It's now called "The Clara Jug"

Of course, that's how Claret is pronounced in Clara.

(Both "a"s in Clara are short)

He lost his tee shot and played three off the tee. He lost this one and played five off the tee into the rough. He played the wrong ball from the rough, only discovered his mistake in the green and had to go back and search for the correct ball.
He failed to find the ball and, therefore had to go back to the tee and play seven.
It took him five more shots to hole out which added to his two shot penalty for playing the wrong ball made a total of 14.

Pierce Morgan, Professional Prick, in my opinion, trolled him on Twitter.
Reminds me of a quip from Lee Trevino, playing with somebody I can't remember the name but a reputation for tantrums.......anyway after losing 2 hooked drives into dense jungle, exploded into profanity and flung the offending club even further into same jungle. Lee Trevino: "You'd better throw a provisional club............cos you're never going to find that one"
