Has to be said, the prospect of 35,000 Irish, 'cause that's all that will turn up, booing an Irish team in Croke park just should not happen. Reinstate the ban now!!

On the other hand I think its a great idea. The FAI will lose money hand over fist if they can't sell their tickets. The only winner will be the GAA.

Fm104 described it well this morning. "last goal resembled an under 11's match".

The equaliser was more like an U8's effort.

I take offence to that. im an u11 and u12 manager and our goals and celebrations are of better quality than that
on this team we fight for that inch, on this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. we claw with our finger nails for that inch. because we know when we add up all those inches, thats going to make the f**king difference between winning and losing

its ironic as it will probably be u11 at the game as they will have to give tickets away to fill it.

No offence meant. Sorry Perhaps I should describe it as something similar to monkeys playing with razor blades!!

The talent just isn't coming through at the moment in Irish chavball. This can happen in any sport and I am sure that it will happen in Irish rugby in the future (hopefully distant) too. You just have to take the peaks with the lows, thats sport.

FAI Allocates Tickets for Croke Park Matches
Date: Tuesday, 06 February 2007
Section: FAI News
All
existing FAI block bookers, clubs, supporter groups, leagues and
affiliates are receiving confirmation of their ticket allocations this
week. This follows a hugely increased demand for the home matches. Over
12,000 fans who had previously been on waiting lists for tickets have
also had their ticket requests accommodated.

The home supporter
capacity of 67,000 is now sold out with all stand and premium seats
allocated leaving a limited number of Corporate Box seats available.

The
Association is installing seats on the @@@@SPAN style="font-weight: bold;">Northern terrace at Croke Park@@@@/SPAN>
in line with UEFA/FIFA regulations and the Wales and German FAs have
been allocated this seated capacity of 6500. Discussions are ongoing
with the Slovakian and Cypriot FAs regarding their take up of seats.
Depending on the take up by these Associations, this may result in some
limited capacity being available for Irish fans for these two matches
only.

Notification of the ticket allocations should be completed by the end of this week.

Regardless of the quality of this Irish team compared to our, eh Golden Years under Jack, last night we fielded a team of professional players against a team with 2 full time players and a bunch of part-timers and it took us till the 5th minute )of 4 minutes of injury time) to snatch a victory.
