Looking for a pub suitable for filming an interview in Dublin

Am looking for some help... A colleague is heading to Dublin to film at the beginning of August and is looking for a quiet-ish room in a traditional looking pub on or near O'Connell street that ideally has parking to film an interview during the afternoon.

They'll be a 2 person crew along with the presenter and contributor. They'd probably need a couple of hours. Unfortunately there's no budget to pay for the location.

She's already contacted the following pubs and is waiting to hear back from them -

    • McDaids
    • Stag's Head
    • Toners
    • Mulligans
    • O'Donoghues

but is ideally on the look out for more options to contact - hence my post on her in the hope of obtaining some local knowledge to be able to pass on!

    Diolch/Thanks!

The palace bar on fleet Street. Just at o connell street bridge end of fleet Street and there's a car park very close by to it on fleet Street. Upstairs bar would probably be perfect for it

O'Neill's on Suffolk street also has an upstairs bar not used during the day.

On O'Connell street there is the Oval Bar.

A suitable bar at least in name for
An interview is the Confession Box beside the Pro Cathedral.

There's a room at the back of the public bar in Mulligan's Pub, Poolbeg St, Dublin 2, that would be perfect for this.

Snug in Stags Head, used in A Man of no Importance, Educating Rita, Penny Dreadful, no on-street parking though, multi-stories nearby.

Otherwise would suggest Gravediggers in Glasnevin

              I'd recommend Palace Bar too

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"
