What crimes do you allege he's committed?

Seriously, I detest Trump, but he has not been even nearly proven guilty of any crime. Incompetent, ego centric, haphazard, and even life costing (lack of) leadership may be a travesty , but it's not a crime.

To confuse the two ( incompetence v's illegality) is to be confused imho....

      From Reuters: PRISON TIME
The report accused Trump of intimidating and threatening witnesses, as well as instructing witnesses and government agencies to ignore subpoenas to testify in the impeachment inquiry.

“It is a federal crime to intimidate or seek to intimidate any witness appearing before Congress,” the report said. “This prohibition applies to anyone who knowing ‘uses intimidation, threatens, or corruptly persuades’ another person in order to ‘influence, delay, or prevent the testimony of any person in an official proceeding.’”

Violations of that law can carry a criminal sentence of up to 20 years in prison, the report notes.

The Department of Justice has a long-standing policy that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

I'm not sure he technically has a criminal record but that's more to do with his ability to use money and influence to make his many, many, many legal transgressions go away.

        He is a committed fraudster.

Of course it remains to be seen if any of his wrongdoings will come back to haunt him once he leaves office. Precedent would suggest he is unlikely to face any consequences.

If he waddles out of office in January next year I fully expect to hear Joe Biden talk about "healing" and "reaching across the aisle". The GOP will throw him a few headline policy wins if he promises to quash any attempts to lay bare that the entire party was given over to a grifting cult leader and dozens of their senior members were up to their necks in it.

Never forget that Lindsey Graham and Joe Biden are good friends.

I think Trump will bea exception to the 'healing etc' argument. Steve Bannon remarked that when his 'base' learn about the Russian money laundering stuff they will abandon him. His niece is apparently the main source with the SD of NY investigation into his finances. They have recently started to get access to his Deutsch Bank records.
His obstruction of justice in the Mueller investigation - he would have been charged but for the convention that sitting president's are not indicted in the courts - I don't think that will be dropped.
It's been commented by FBI insiders that he'll spend the rest of his life in prison, going on what they know.

From Andy Borowitz of the New Yorker

Trump Refuses to Ramp Up Testing Because of His Hatred of Ramps

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Borowitz Report)—Donald J. Trump is refusing to ramp up testing because of his deep-seated hatred of ramps, White House sources have revealed.
According to several sources, Trump’s enmity toward ramps reached a fever pitch after his notorious visit to West Point, earlier this month, which took any talk at the White House of ramping up anything totally off the table.

Eyewitnesses say that it was shortly after that visit that Jared Kushner, seemingly unaware of Trump’s newly inflamed feud with ramps, suggested in a White House meeting, “Do you think we should ramp up testing?,” only to receive a chilly reply from Trump.

“Never say that word again,” he reportedly snapped.

                  “Testing?” Kushner asked.

                  “Ramp, you idiot,” Trump thundered.

While White House staffers have been scrambling in recent days to find synonyms for “ramp up,” including “accelerate,” “increase,” and “do more of,” they have become suddenly aware of other words they must avoid while speaking to Trump, including “drink,” “glass,” and “water.”

OK so this is from a year ago, and frankly I couldnt be bothered looking for an updated list but then there were 30 active investigations (Congressional, Federal, State)

Hard to believe the current number is a lot less than this, that he is not at major risk of seeing prison time, and that presidential immunity is not a big motivating factor for his decision-making right now

A long way to go to the election but as things stand its hard to see how Trump can turn it round
                            • He is doubling down on the crazyness and insanity even on issues that are losers in polls (e.g. the Confederacy)
                            • His approvals are slowly ebbing
                            • The nationwide polls show a double digit Biden lead
                            • Swing state polls pretty much all show Biden ahead
                            • Sign that even his core supporters are doubting him (see turnout in Tulsa)
                            • As he weakens the vultures are circling and his support base is also ebbing away, even his Republican enablers (even Graham said he wouldnt hold a vote on his nominee for SDNY unless Schumer and Gillibrand asked him to)
                            • The optics right now - he looks like a loser

Right now all he has going for him are:
                            • All or most of the swing states are Red States (Ohio, Iowa, Florida, Wisconsin, NC, Arizona) - and polls in swing states are tighter than the country as a whole
                            • The hope of some kind of miraculous change in the progression of COVID - "one day it miraculously goes away" so his ratings on the economy become more important
                            • Bidens health
                            • Widespread voter suppression - closing polling stations, curbing mail in ballots
                            • His core support remains (30%? 35%?)
Most commentators say the polls will tighten, and the electoral college gives him an inbuilt advantage, but rather than crediting Trump as some kind of idiot savant when it comes to electioneering right now he just looks like an idiot
Personally though even if he only has a 10% chance of winning that makes me uncomfortable, given the fact that if he does win its 100% likely he will do irreparable damage to the US and the world

He's been railing against mail in ballots for a few days. One has to wonder if he's laying the groundwork for a challenge if / when he loses?

I honestly don't believe he will go easily or indeed willingly.

Bill Maher has being saying on his show for over a year that this guy won’t go willingly if he loses the election. No one seems to have an answer for how we will be physically removed from office d if he refuses to go.
