I know I'm in a minority, but I've liked all the stuff that Disney has put out. I didn't see the fuss over Last Jedi - it seemed fairly solid to me. I really liked Solo, and thought Rogue One was excellent.

I sense sometimes that they're being benchmarked against people's childhood memories. The reality for me is that Lucas' prequel was unrelenting ****e, and if we're honest there's nothing as bad in the Disney series as the Ewoks were.

So there's only two Star Wars movies for me that would come in ahead of what's been produced since Lucas was bought out.

Rogue one was superb. Up there with Empire for me and I really enjoyed solo too.

In last Jedi I liked Mark Hamill parts but then I'm a bit biased with him maybe. He's can do no wrong. The ship pursuit was fine but the casino planet or whatever it was I thought was terrible and as much as I like Gleeson he was badly miscast in the trilogy

This is a bit discouraging, but not totally unexpected..... Well done Disney, 3 different movies, no continuous story... a disaster it seems..

The type of public non media who get to pre releases of star wars movies aren't always reliable but early reviews (Twitter comments) were positive.

Don’t think it matters? It’s not like there’s a coherent story line in this current trilogy.

Having said that, I’ll probably go to my local cinema this weekend.

Seems to be a lot less fanfare about a Star Wars release now than previously. Even when out and about, very few billboards posters etc. I even have to admit as a Star Wars fan, I'm a lot more buzzed about the Witcher this Christmas.

Finally got around to it last week. It was an enjoyable enough flick. Improvement on last one which wouldn't be hard but sounds like it was completely sanitised by the studio from what sounds like a much better original script. Not sure how likely I am to go back to any of that trilogy unless it's on TV or son wants to watch. Maybe the hamill bits of last jedi

                    The mandalorian however was awesomeness

It's great stuff, reminds me of some Clint Eastwood westerns.

Far better than the recent movies. Would happily settle for a few good shows on Disney+ than sanitised movies.
