    Amazon to trial Drones

Looks like Amazon are to get the go ahead to test out delivery of parcels using Drones.
This has been banned in usa, where drones gave to fly beliw 400ft and be in sight of pilot at all times.
For some reason, the restrictions are not appkicable in UK ( yet)
reports in todays Times indicate they will get goahead.
Amazon will be marketing t as 30 minute delivery.

Im sure I saw something some months ago where Drones were getting to become a nuisance, they are banned from flying over Football stadias, and indications were more rigourous restrictions were being called for as they became more commonpace.

Must admit id be tempted to shoot them down if they flew over my property...great threat to privacy. In an unregulated market, the ability to fly around with cameras etc.
Drones are easy to come by as well......Amazon sell them

Ah so there are restrictions in UK,commcial operations need permission from CAA.Permission involves showing you are competant
    Also if over 20kg.
Even if under 20kg restrictions are in force as to flying witin 150meters of congested area and 50meters of a person not under control of pilot.
Also restrictions relating to height restrictions if 400fy and 500meters horizontally, otherwise explicit CAA permisson.
Use with a camera also attracts data protection laws..
