      Where's Eamonn? Or shouldn't I ask?
"There are a lot of points that we’ve left behind and this is with a young group. That probably tells you what they’re capable of and that they’re a very good side.

Probably next year or the year after next they will take some stopping"

He took over a party rightly decimated after overseeing the bankrupting of the country....the main players scarpered off with their pensions. He steadied the ship and supported bi partisan efforts to stabilise the country. He has now lead FF and FG to join forces for national stability a fact few would ever deemed possible and coming up to 100 year anniversary of our most divisive history of our country. He has faced down powerful voices in his own party. He has faults but I for one am happy that this arrangement will go forward. I didn't want a payrise in the midst of a global recession and pandemic. I didnt want €200 for ever citizen when there is no money to spare. I could go on listing the ridiculous populist recommendations from the party of 'change' but run out of space.
I am reassured in the knowledge that the cabinet will be made up of some of brightest minds of the 3 parties and look forward to giving them a chance to govern in uncertain times.
LOL. Get back to work meehole, never knew you were on here

You have every right to be offended. Doesn’t mean it’s wrong though. Just because someone might get offended doesn’t mean people can’t post stuff. Personally I think posting this is a sign of an uneducated, prejudiced mind. But they can post it.

And a supposed leader of a 1st world country quoting mean girls for laughs is a sign of what exactly?

                    A decent sense of humour?

Me thinks you have led a very sheltered life to date, the post was put up for a laugh.

                        I didn't find it funny
And I suspect we have very different definitions of "sheltered"

I thought it was funny and I'd be a fan of Leo. Just curious, offensive how? On behalf of who?

Maybe it's in the eye of the beholder but to me it's a tired homophobic stereotype. I agree that there may be a fine line buts it's not funny either so it's easy for me to say it's offensive

As in you think someone hates the gay community because they posted that? I find that hard to believe.

I would never assume or think that.

But, I think posts like that reinforce stereotypes and contribute to an atmosphere of hate and discrimination
