    Recommend a Desktop/All-In-One

Well I know there's a tablet thread but I've a query about desktops or even the all in ones. I'm looking for 1 but can anyone help. I just want it to do my few documents for work on word/excel but also for internet and music etc. I usually but from Dell but was shocked how expensive they've got and well any other brand I'm bit hesitant of simply because I know nothing. Also in shock now if you buy a desktop you don't get a monitor with it?
But anyways any help or advise is great. My budget is about €600-650 anod have been looking at 2nd hand ones too on done deal but still weary as I don't want one that is very slow

AOC monitors are good value, Asus desktop has more value with the chip,Lenovo is good kit though, depends how much storage you need.

Well no more than music really all my MS Documents I backup to external drive so may check out Lenovo. To be honest I was more afraid they'd just stop working after few months

If you have a monitor then no need for an AIO. go for a desktop box with as much firepower as your budget allows.

Over on eBay reseller 'macbankhome' have a number of 3Ggz + iMacs (all in one) offer around th €500 mark. If you're worried you might miss all that malware and irritating messages explaining your own actoons to yourself you can also install Windows on it.

Computer prices are fairly high with the whole XP thing, imo give it a while and they'll drop once all the hype dies down.
