    'Rocky'
star Sylvester Stallone has been charged with importing vials of a
muscle-building hormone into Australia, where it is restricted.

Customs said that 48 vials of banned human growth hormone were found
in his luggage when he was detained at Sydney airport on 16 February.

The actor was visiting Australia to promote the latest film in the 'Rocky' franchise, 'Rocky Balboa'.

In Australia, the hormone is considered to be a performance-enhancing drug and cannot be imported without a government permit.

Stallone did not have to appear in court and the case was adjourned
until 24 April, when his lawyers will be asked to enter a plea on his
    behalf.

The maximum fine for the offence is A$110,000.
