Michael Lowry

31/03/2011 - 11:28:22</span>
A motion to censure calling for the resignation of Michael Lowry been passed without a vote in the Dáil today.

Independent TD for Tipperary North responded: "I am not a criminal."

He
reiterated that he will not resign and has again lashed out at the
Moriarty Tribunal report, saying it is flawed and not grounded in fact.

The
former Minister pleaded with the Tánaiste to ensure any Garda inquiry
is dealt with expeditiously and that the scrutiny of him is brought to
an end.

He also said that he would not take a lecture from Sinn
Féin, given their past associations with "atrocities, mutilation, murder
on civilians and unarmed gardaí".

Probably Grandpa (and I wonder what that says about his constituents?) but that wasn't the question.

He's been called all sorts of bad things by Moriarty, and has now been censured by the Dail.

If that's all they can do to him wtf did we waste such a huge amount of money on a tribunal?

I hope the CAB etc. find something good enough to stick on him personally.

You know someone is stuck when the best they can do is say they never murdered anyone.

Your opinion is worthless because you did worse things than I did

Hopefully he will get taken to the cleaners by Cab and the garda. But he shouldn't be alone in being charged.

Moriarty should crack on with the Costs issues, send Lowry a ginormous bill, then bankrupt the fupper fastrack, then there is the reason to kick him out of the Dail.

So with his big brazen neck he is going to go and sit in the Dail day after day after day doing nothing because he cant and nobody will touch him with the proverbial barge pole all the while pocketing 100k+ (that we know about but thats another issue altogether!!). His seat would be better served sitting empty, as it stands North Tipp are minus one representative (although whether they deserve representing again is another issue).

They have thicker necks than Lowry, some achievement.

He has some neck on him to be pontificating to anybody, that fcuker is going to cost us the bones of 1 billion euros that we just dont have. He is a tax cheat, held illegal off shore accounts, took bribes, accepted payment in kind, stole from his employees and was found "profoundly corrupt" by a High Court Judge yet he is taking the moral high ground what a mad little island we live on that he doesnt even have to resign
