Keep up the diversionary hypocrisy, so typical of ye.The idea that SF senior figures cannot miss funeral of their Provo bud is as laughable as it is pathetic as 80 FF/FG/Judges attending a golf shindig

They were criticised for it at the time.

So all the FFG politicians and elites are getting the same treatment. What's your problem?

Problem ? Oh The usual :- the hypocrisy of the SFers who all kept their mouths shut over Michelle/Mary-Lou/Gerry and other party faithful

        - didnt hear Eoin O Brion calling for his "Dear Leader" (the one North or South) to step down

Not hearing many FG/FF/ Greens calling for those on this side of the island to step down for their behaviour either..

It seems Big Phil was stopped by the Garda on his way to Clifden for using his Mobile 'Phone while driving.

"The spokesperson said: "The lockdown guidelines for Kildare provide for exceptional travel outside the county 'to travel to work and home again'.""

Since has attending a golfing bash equalled exceptional travel?

It seems he picked up some EU paperwork on his way. That made it "work related" and therefore legal for him to stop off in Kildare.

Fine Gael and Fianna Fail have removed the party whip from five Senators and Phil Hogan has been urged to consider his position by Leo Varadkar.

the whole thing has a Galway Races tent feel to it though, is the golf society open to all members of the Oireachteas?

Only fools and drunks argue over everything. If you don’t have a hangover the next day you’re not the drunk...

The Minister for Agriculture and the Leas Ceann Comhairle of the Seaned have resigned their positions. It not really usual to call for someone to resign after they've already resigned..........

And both the Taoiseach and the Tanaiste have have suggested that Phil Hogan should resign, but they don't have any power to coerce him to do so.

But yeah, keep spouting that rubbish.

I hope the coming weeks are a bit calmer, but with schools going back and leaving cert results it will be an interesting period - especially as the hacks smell blood.

What we need now is a tribunal. How did we manage with one dinner to lose a Government Minister, and potentially a Supreme Court judge and an EU Trade Commissioner?

They have taken a reduction in salary but are still TD's or Senators on a salary unlike Michael Cawley who did resign.

They were elected by the people. The people will in time decide whether to elect them again.

How did EU paperwork get to be in his apartment in Kildare and more importantly when was it put there?

Why did he only get a caution for a clear traffic offence?

How the fup is an EU Commissioner not using a hands-free device. He must be on the phone 24/7 when he is out of the office. How does he expect to drive 2+ hours without taking a phone call.
