Its only thanks to Simon Coveney and his British counterparts efforts in the past few months that O Neill is finally doing what she has been PAID for the past 3 years to do and which her electorate voted her in to do.......sure you must listen to the people!!!
Unfortunately in so doing they gave an appearance of social responsibility and gopd optics for SF in the Republic.

Its fair to say Leo as much as I think he is the wrong leader for FG, is a qualified GP and is much better placed to give her advice on Covid 19 than anything she can give him......unless the subject is knee capping.

I don’t see you making the same point about the original posters comment on Frank Flannery which was 24 years ago? Or is it only Sinn Féin’s criminal history that we should ignore? Or perhaps you’d prefer to discuss their more recent crimes like the Paul Quinn affair?

Btw how is fine gael supremo frank flannery doing after leo begged CAB to look into peoples finances? Did frank ever sort out his offshore accounts issue?
Plus the €400,000 he got from rehab for 'lobbying'?
Wow ! FG and FF have had their bad/dodgy apples for sure .... but are you really going to open this can of worms ?

The Taoiseach consulted with the First and Deputy First Ministers of Northern Ireland on a health issue that, and stay with me here, affects the entire island. Given that Fine Gael are likely to be in opposition if another Government is ever formed, you're going to have to work harder on your "everything bad is Leo's fault" schtick.

The latest Sunday Times poll is massive bad news for FFG

The people are clearly letting Mehole know that they want SF as part of the government when you look at the surge in support for them.

Not sure anyone is claiming SF have a divine right to form a Government. That's just a straw man. If anything I would say their route to forming a Government is virtually non-existent.
That is almost exactly the narrative that they are trying to push.

The facts are that both FF and FG made election promises not to form a government with SF and received a combined 43% of the first preference vote and 45% of the seats and to that Labour's vote, plenty of Independents and about half the Green vote that would abandon them the minute they formed a SF and it is clear than well over 50% of the eletorate want SF nowhere near government. Yet in spite of all that SF are trying to assert that somehow other parties sticking to the manifesto pledges is somehow undemocratic.
