    All the fans from every club in Limerick meeting in Punches after the games on Saturday afternoon.

      3,000 first Heineken cup game against Ponntypris 99/00 season.
      Buying tickets for 3 games for the price of 2 in Gleesons.
      £6 for a Terrace ticket, rising to £15 for the 1/4 final.
      Carling Black Label on the front of the shirt.
      15,000 for Shannon and Garryowen.
      Des O'Malley pissed out of head addressing the crowd.

        Or the woman who had the stall just inside the turstiles, her chant went something like "Apple's or oranges, cigerattes or chocolates, her now lads".

          The Pontypridd supporters were slagging because of the World Cup, they were chanting "Argentina Argentina" but got very quiet when the returning went back "Samoa Samoa". innocent fun days.

              Queing all night outside Thomond.

                  Len Dineen commentating from the open top bus that doubled as Limerick City Tour during the week.

                    And Frank Hogan painting advertising on the pitch for his car dealership. Sky went ballistic and made sure it was painted over.

                    Another Garryowen one was when there was unprecedented rain in Limerick (yeah, right) and the pitch in Dooradoyle was water-logged, so they got some helicopters to try and blow the water off the pitch. Priceless. [img]smileys/lol.gif[/img]

                              Getting a rise out of all the players limerick based and otherwise in the pubs and nightclubs of Limerick after the game, particularly in Bohs Clubhouse.


                              Yes Mack, The old Stand 1989, the new stand 1990, the new terraces 1999 and the new stand 2008.


                              Getting in free at half time.


                              The Cookies getting beaten every year in the Cup Final


                              I'd swear there was more there for the Cookies and Shannon though...


                              Munster Junior Cup Final Mary's and Thomond. Can't remember the year 89-90 but i'd give anything to be at it again....
