Full VAT is being levied on outdoor events from this year onwards. Electric Picnic is 200 sheets and is far better value, an extra day, less skangers, better facilities (which still need improving), no beer embargo, better food options, more non-music attractions, Silent Disco, cinema tent...

Of the above list Daft Punk would be the only one's that I'd cross the road to see. MOR crap.

Saw Muse in the Odyssey in Belfast. Worth it just to see them again. Fantastic.

I'm whimping out this year cos i'm sick to sh1t of getting soaked to the skin every year. The wonderful irish weather means the novelty has well and truly worn off. Even the years where the weather was good have had a few right downpours (2001/2005). Line-up only so so IMO and def not worth the reputed €200. If i was going to see any band it would be Interpol. Last alumn was excellent and hopefully there's more to come from them.

So it is, although supposed to be 18+, is aimed at the 15+ market anybody over 23 at Oxygen is OAP. Electric picnic is for the more mature music heads.

I'm going to Wembley to see Muse in June but I'll try and get to Oxegen to see them again. A decent enough lineup in fairness.

That is possibly the worst lineup I have ever seen. the only act there I would consider getting out of bed for there would be Daft Punk.. who are quality live!!

Mind you I cant see myself going back to Hi-Fi this year

I reckon If someone had dropped a bomb on the place on the Saturday night at least 85% of Irelands crime ratewould have vanished overnight!!
Terry who? Look man I aint playing the name game up in here Theres a reason why Mr. Felcher chose me in the first round....I\'m an impact player!!!
