Guinness Foreign Extra is great stuff. If you can get the following in Ireland you won't be disappointed:

                    Marstons Oyster Stout. 4.5%

                    Cains 2008. 5%

                    Old Suffolk Strong Ale. 6%

                    Breakespeares Triple. 7.2%

                    McEwans Champion. 7.3%

                    Robinsons Old Tom. 8.5%

                    Batemans TripleX. 4.2%

Any cider by Thatchers or Westons is worth a try.

                      Staropramen and only Staropramen.

Don't know what people's obsession with Erdinger is, Wheatbeers taste great starting off but then they just rip through ya. Ican only manage one, and prefer Hoegaarden anyway.

I wonder is it because of the shape of the glass
Girlfriend\'s English Boss: That Gaelic Football you lot play is a bit mad isn\'t it?

Girlfriend: That\'s nothing, you should watch a game of hurling. Think hockey except the ball is harder, it flies around the place and the sticks have bits of metal on the end of them.

                      GEB: Woah, sounds dangerous.

GF: Yeah, you can understand why some lads wear helmets, sure people have died.

GEB: What, from being hit in the head?

GF: No, they were shot by the English.
