This might be of interest to some.

On Saturday March 21st the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerickis hosting BizCamp Limerick, a one day event meant to bring entrepreneurs and state agencies into contact with people interested in setting up their own businesses.

The conference comes as thousands of Mid West workers face unemployment in the coming months. One response to this crisis is to set up indigenous businesses. This requires support from state agencies, overcoming legal issues, individual mentoring, sourcing funding, original ideas, and hard work. BizCamp brings all these elements together in one day.

The Limerick event builds on the success of BizCamp Dublin, which took place at the Digital Hub on March 7 and received high appreciation from the 200+ participants.

Attendance is free and open to the public. The event starts at 9am. Registration via the website is required.</DIV>

                            Hi all,

there's a couple of jobs in Intel Shannon listed on the above website. They are looking for technical people even for the marketing roles. There's a push to hire internally if possible, but from what's been happening so far it's looking like external people will have to be hired to fill the roles. Some roles are pure technical others are mixture of tech/marketing, some are customer support type but an engineering degree is required.

Anyone wants to know more about the roles listed drop me a PM, I don't think all the roles are listed as yet, so keep an eye on the website.

Some background on the site &amp; the expansion:
