Last year's event began with a viewing of old and contemorary photographs, prints and paintings in The Dennehy a well established gallery on Cornmarket St, followed by a tour through the streets of the ancient city, along the old course of the River Leebefore adjourning to study ancient Irish Trees. This was followed by an open-air discussion on current affairs.

This years event may follow a similar or a completely different agenda, depending on the democratic wishes of those attending.

There goes any semblance of culture. Not that Cork has any.

A Pissup is it? That might be acceptable in other, lesser, locations, but not in the realCapital, that centre of culture, refinement and all things classy. Turn up, you might be pleasantly surprised.

The aforementioned discussion took place to the south of the Elderly Arboretum.
