Robinson makes 7 changes for Springboks

Team actually looks stronger, would worry about the fitness of some of the recalls though..
Girlfriend\'s English Boss: That Gaelic Football you lot play is a bit mad isn\'t it?

Girlfriend: That\'s nothing, you should watch a game of hurling. Think hockey except the ball is harder, it flies around the place and the sticks have bits of metal on the end of them.

    GEB: Woah, sounds dangerous.

GF: Yeah, you can understand why some lads wear helmets, sure people have died.

GEB: What, from being hit in the head?

GF: No, they were shot by the English.

allen dropped out of the squad completely! Goode and Flood on the bench?

Good to see Josh Lewsey back always been a class player.

Looks a better team on paper although the midfield looks an area of concern as usual.

Slower back row but against the saffers we played would'nt worry about that. I'd say this game will be tighter than I expected and England may even win it!

Woonder how much was having to rest players as well. He could only get 1 more game from some of them so maybe he's bitten the bullet on some guys coming back a bit early. Interesting thing is he's got no options at FB, where Balshaw has been ordinary bar 1 run, his OC isn't proven at this level, Mr Flaky is still at OH, will he even bring Perry on if Richards fails (as he can't then play in the last game) and the back row still has 2 guys who aren't that great (in Corry's case anymore) and Worsley can't make the Wasps first team. I look forwards to the Stan bashers commenting on that one. If you're not good enough for your club you're not good enough for internationals.

On paper it looks ok but on grass they could be as bad as ever.

Allen thrown out of the squad, does he not see what he's done and is doing to these young players by trying them briefly and completely discarding them?

These young guys need time to grow into the position. Games against NZ and the Argies are not the place to learn to deal with the international pace. I thought Allen did OK under the circumstances. It will not help his confidence to be dropped so quickly.

England: Balshaw (Gloucester); Cueto (Sale), Tait (Newcastle), Noon (Newcastle), Lewsey (Wasps); Hodgson (Sale), Richards (Gloucester); Sheridan (Sale), Chuter (Leicester), White (Leicester), Palmer (Wasps), Kay (Leicester), Worsley (Wasps), Sanderson (Worcester), Corry (Leicester, capt).
Replacements: Mears (Bath), Vickery (Wasps), Jones (Sale), Moody (Leicester), Perry (Bristol), Goode (Leicester), Flood (Newcastle).

Much improved. He fixed the back row. I assume we have seen the last of that stupid experiment. Palmer though isnt up to Int standard. Why two 10's on the bench?

Finally Noon at first centre- the guys a decent player, but not a second centre. Surprised Worsley got on- wasn't he injured or not starting for Wasps? Like to have seen Lund at 7.
