@WorldRugby confirm Samoa games with Scotland and England will go ahead as they cover insurance payments - also give £1.5m-a-year to SRU

Maybe it's time the bigger unions start visiting these countries more often for test matches and offer a greater slice of the money when they play at home. Sad to think Dan Carter's contract salary is the Samoan union debt.
He's a guy who gets up at six o'clock in the morning regardless of what time it is.

Home side pays the visiting side's expenses. They also collect the full gate money as home side. When Samoa hosted NZ, they at best broke even due to NZ costs.

Agreed that some sort of agreement for Tier 2 sides visiting Tier 1 sides getting a fixed % of the gate is needed.

It seems that there are infrastructure issues within the Samoan Rugby Union. Their president is also the president of the country. Manu Tuilagi is calling for the £75,000 donation from the RFU to be given directly to the players for the above reason.

Was it Samoa or Tonga that once lined out in a set of O'Neill Gaa jerseys as they lost theirs when here?

We should. World Rugby tours schedule has us visiting about once every 12 years and its the same with England, Scotland, Wales.
New Zealand and Australia need to be travelling their way more often and play them more giving them bigger cut financially.

Same with Fiji. Major issues with governance and fijian army and role it was playing in rugby in the country a few years back wasnt there?
