Ya, Joe's son. Joe was a tough nut.

Great to see Ringrose is still available for this. Cian Romaine for Connacht should also be good
No just one front row. Romaine is a beast at this level. Lots back again out wide from last year hopefully forwards can give them enough of a platform to do well

Schools won interpros for first time in ages but do we really have much very talented players coming through?

Where are you getting Munster getting 8-10 representatives from? Why do you think that?

4 is pretty poor. Connacht have 5 in the squad.
toland and thornley were on the last word wed night, toland mentioned some Leinster schools have better facilities than the Munster development lads do.
they spoke a good bit about better sponsorship that Leinster can tap into, made me wonder why are all the big companies in Shannon, limerick and cork not being tapped up? What is Howlett at exactly?

Spotted him in some Connacht Eagles highlights a while back, he looked a beast at that level too! Very exciting player. Hugely impressed with Gaffney last year as well, has a great skill-set from his school days as an out-half. Connacht are starting to put together the bones of an indigenously-developed side if a few of their young prospects come good.

Munster lost all 3 interpros - narrowly albeit and were not well beaten by Ulster/Leinster like Connacht were but they lost all three games. It isn't facilities that are letting the munster clubs and schools down. That's too easy. Theres a lot more than the standards of gyms etc that is the difference.

Do we? We need to have a good long luck at every step in the development process

Whats the pack like? That'll be the key for Ireland.

It gets more depressing as the years progress.

I know we have a good u18 team coming through, so hopefully that may be the start of some better representation at national level.
